About Us

Marine Surgery and Oakridge Surgery form the Marine & Oakridge Partnership, the Surgeries are located in East Bournemouth and joining South Coast Medical Group in March 2018.

Marine Surgery is a purpose-built Spanish style property located near Southbourne cliffs with convenient public transport access and substantial on-site parking. A dispensing pharmacy is located to the side of the building. In 2020 Marine Surgery waiting room was renovated to facilitate an additional clinical consulting room.

Oakridge Surgery is located at the bottom of Pokesdown Hill. This is a small vibrant surgery with a welcoming homely ambiance. The front garden area was reconfigured in 2020 to provide disabled access and 2 disabled car parking spaces.  On-site parking is available in the car park to the rear of the building.

Our vision at Marine and Oakridge Surgery is to promote health and wellbeing in the local communities of Southbourne, Hengistbury Head, Tuckton, Pokesdown, Iford, Wick and surrounding areas.  This surgery provides a wide range of high-quality medical services to patients of these communities.

Marine and Oakridge patients can access appointments and an enhanced range of clinical services at any of the surgery’s sites within South Coast Medical Group Primary Care Network.

Services include health visitors, midwifery, nursing and district nursing and are free under the NHS. We also provide a range of complementary services, which are not funded by the NHS, but through our charities and free to our patients. Parallel private services outside the NHS scope are also available.

There are four surgeries in our group: Providence SurgeryWoodlea House Surgery, Grove Surgery and Marine & Oakridge Surgery.

As a patient of a South Coast Medical Group surgery, you have increased access to a range of services at any of our surgeries.
